Learn MoreHow we work a chimney in Industry
Hardly anyone lives in Industry, about 210 people, so homes with working fireplaces are few and far between. Any house that does have one still gets a real climb. Most chimneys around here stand in the neighboring communities instead. Hot, dry summers and fall Santa Ana gusts are the routine stress on anything built up here. Chino Hills in 2008 shook from a short way east and was felt, so old masonry deserves a look for cracks.
What We Check on the Roof
The few residential stacks: cap fasteners, crown, and any cracks since 2008.
What the Same Crew Fixes
Any repair here is carried out by the person who climbed up and checked the chimney.
Brush Work Here
One flue at a time by hand, on one of the very few homes in the city.
Next Door
We also climb roofs in Diamond Bar, West Covina, Avocado Heights.
