Learn MoreHow we work a chimney in Mission Viejo
Planned from the 1960s by its namesake company, Mission Viejo is almost entirely newer than 1950, with about half from before 1980. Lakeside homes and hill tracts can mix masonry with later metal flues, so we identify yours first. Sun and heat slowly crack crowns and joints here, and water brings rust once it gets in. Santa Ana gusts can strip caps and spread embers, and big fires have burned in the mountains beyond the city, Santiago in 2007 and Holy in 2018.
What We Check on the Roof
Heat-cracked crowns, rust at metal parts, and caps facing embers off the mountains.
What the Same Crew Fixes
The worker who climbed for the photos handles your crown or cap repair too.
Brush Work Here
Lakeside and hill-tract flues in Mission Viejo brushed by hand from the firebox.
Next Door
We also climb roofs in Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, Coto de Caza.
