Learn MoreHow we work a chimney in Palos Verdes Estates
Only about 6 miles from Lomita, Palos Verdes Estates has early Mediterranean homes with red tile and hillside lots that make access harder. Older masonry stacks are common, so careful footing on tile matters as much as the crown. Offshore and under the peninsula runs the Palos Verdes Fault, so we check masonry for cracks across the brick. Marine cloud in May and June keeps crowns damp, and most rain arrives by March.
What We Check on the Roof
Footing on red tile, peninsula-fault cracks, and damp crowns along Palos Verdes Drive West.
What the Same Crew Fixes
Masonry and crown repairs stay with the crew that climbed your tile and took the photos.
Brush Work Here
Older masonry flues brushed by hand from the firebox, with the damper cleaned before we go.
Next Door
We also climb roofs in Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Lomita.
